Man seriously injured after shooting in Toronto’s east end

Toronto police say a man has serious injuries after being shot in the city’s east end on Thursday night.

Emergency crews were called to Thorncliffe Park Drive and Overlea Boulevard at around 8:05 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

A man was taken to hospital in serious condition, police said.

There is no word on suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
